Pagasa forecasts hot, humid weather with rain showers in Luzon, Visayas; partly cloudy to overcast skies with rain in Mindanao

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecasts generally fair but hot and humid weather across most of Luzon on Friday due to the Easterlies.

Weather conditions will be pleasant in the morning but warm and humid by noon, particularly affecting Northern and Central Luzon with partly cloudy skies expected in the afternoon.

There are chances of rain showers or thunderstorms from Friday afternoon to evening, especially in low-lying areas where residents should be cautious of potential flash floods or landslides during heavy downpours.

Visayas will experience similar weather patterns throughout the day while Mindanao is forecasted to have partly cloudy to overcast skies with higher chances of rain in the afternoon and evening.

PAGASA's Veronica Torres warns that isolated thunderstorms may bring flash floods or landslides, particularly in low-lying areas.
