PAGASA forecasts fair weather, isolated rain showers, and dangerous heat in 6 areas

The Philippines will experience generally fair weather conditions on Tuesday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Metro Manila and other parts of the country are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterly winds.

Moderate to strong winds will be felt over the northern and western sections of Northern Luzon, while light to moderate winds will prevail across the rest of the archipelago.

Six areas may experience a dangerous heat index ranging from 42°C to 44°C on Tuesday, including Dagupan City in Pangasinan which is forecasted at 44°C.

PAGASA advised people to limit outdoor activities during peak daytime hours and stay hydrated to avoid heat-related illnesses.

People are also reminded to use umbrellas or wear hats and long-sleeved clothing for protection against the sun.
