Pagasa warns moderate to heavy rains, lightning, strong winds in Metro Manila, Luzon

Metro Manila and several provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds on Tuesday morning, according to Pagasa.

The areas forecasted to be affected include Metro Manila, Rizal, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales within the next two hours.

Moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are already being experienced in Bataan (Orion, Limay, Mariveles) and Zambales (Botolan, San Antonio), which may persist and affect nearby regions.

Pagasa advises residents to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides due to severe weather conditions.

Tropical Depression Emong left the Philippine area of responsibility earlier at 7:10 a.m. on Saturday.
