PAGASA: Dry season starts, expect warmer days ahead

PAGASA announced that the Philippines is entering the dry season with warmer temperatures expected in the coming days.

The northeast monsoon or 'amihan' season is likely to end by the weekend, bringing a shift from northeasterly to easterly winds and an increase in daily temperature across most parts of the country.

Isolated rain showers are still possible during afternoon or evening hours despite the onset of warmer weather.

PAGASA advised minimizing heat stress and optimizing water use as La Niña weakens but may still affect some areas with above-normal rainfall conditions.
