PAGASA: No super typhoon in PAR

PAGASA clarifies that no super typhoon has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), debunking recent claims.

According to PAGASA's latest weather forecast, there are currently no active tropical cyclones within or outside the PAR.

A low pressure area (LPA) previously known as Tropical Depression Kabayan was located west southwest of Zamboanga City and has weakened after making landfall in Davao Oriental.

The northeast monsoon is affecting Northern and Central Luzon, while a shear line impacts eastern parts of Southern Luzon, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
