OVP aids flood and fire victims in Mindanao

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has provided relief goods and food assistance to families affected by recent floods in Agusan del Sur, Agusan del Norte, and Davao de Oro. OVP sent 200 sacks of rice and 140 boxes of relief goods to Agusan del Sur for 1,000 affected families.

In Davao del Norte's Carmen town, the OVP provided 331 evacuee families with hygiene kits and sleeping mats, and distributed 500 sacks of rice to 103 flood-affected families who stayed in their homes.

Additionally, the OVP delivered essentials to fire victims in Davao City, providing food for displaced residents from two villages affected by a February 25th fire. The Kalusugan Food Truck program also continues to serve as a mobile kitchen in these areas.
