PNP accosts over 70K ECQ protocol violators

Since the start of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) on August 5th, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has accosted over 70,000 protocol violators in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

In the first week alone, PNP apprehended more than 40,000 curfew violators in Metro Manila with an average of 5,759 daily.

Additionally, a total of 212,750 violators were recorded across NCR Plus, averaging around 23,639 per day.

PNP also monitored and sanctioned non-authorized persons outside residence (APOR) in both Metro Manila and NCR Plus.
