Baguio: Over 72% eligible population vaccinated

As of August 23, Baguio City has vaccinated around 72.42% of its eligible population with COVID-19 vaccines.

The city has administered full doses to 89,918 individuals in the A1 to A5 categories and a total of 214,714 residents have received at least one dose.

About 3,300 senior citizens remain unvaccinated as of August 19, with city officials working to locate and convince them to get vaccinated.

Records show that over 80% of the elderly population has been fully vaccinated, but efforts continue to ensure all senior citizens receive protection.
