NU women's badminton beats UP, shares first place

National University's women's badminton team secured a 3-2 victory over the University of the Philippines on Sunday, sharing first place in UAAP Season 86.

Sarah Barredo was pivotal for NU, winning her singles match against Aldreen Concepcion and doubles with Lee-Anne De Leon to clinch the win.

Despite initial setbacks including losses by Ysabel Amora and a tie by Anthea Gonzalez, coach Jaime Llanes praised his team's resilience and ability to handle pressure as underdogs.
