NU extends UAAP badminton win streak to 60

National University extended its UAAP men's badminton winning streak to 60 matches with a 3-2 victory over the University of the Philippines on Sunday.

MJ Perez secured the decisive win for NU by defeating Johann Abinales in the final match, winning 21-9, 26-24.

Earlier, Mark Velasco won the first point for NU against Jelo Albo with a controversial victory that faced challenges from UP’s coaching staff. Kervin Llanes then leveled the score by defeating Solomon Padiz Jr., followed by Julius Villabrille and James Villarante clinching the doubles match for NU.
