NTF urges unvaccinated Filipinos to get vaxxed during Dec 15-17

The National Task Force Against Covid-19 urges unvaccinated Filipinos to get inoculated during the upcoming national vaccination days from December 15 to 17.

Assistant Secretary Wilben Mayor welcomed the arrival of 1,082,250 doses of Pfizer vaccines and encouraged residents to contact their local government units for vaccination appointments.

Zamboanga City extended its national vaccination drive until Friday to cater to more residents, with a total of 87,935 individuals vaccinated during the first three days.

The National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) called on companies to excuse employees participating in the extended vaccination drive, urging managers to extend the same courtesy as President Duterte's proclamation only covers November 29 to December 1.

Vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. said the NTF will recommend extending the national vaccination drive until Friday to reach more people.
