DOH-CHD 6: Iloilo, Capiz record new Covid-19 cases

Iloilo and Capiz provinces each recorded one new positive case for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Thursday, April 16, bringing the total number of cases in Western Visayas to 42.

The new cases include a 63-year-old male from Roxas City, Capiz, and a 21-year-old male from Miagao town, Iloilo, both with contact with previously reported positive patients.

Prior to this update, there were no additional confirmed cases for three days since April 12.
