Eleazar: No harsh penalty vs. face mask policy violators

Police General Guillermo Eleazar said on Sunday that violators of the face mask policy will not face harsh penalties.

Instead, they will be brought to a holding area where local ordinances such as community service or fines can be enforced.

Eleazar clarified that officials have no right to impose punishment and will only apprehend without hurting or punishing violators.
