Rookie Xyrus Torres led the game with an impressive performance, scoring 28 points and shooting 11-of-12 from the field to help NLEX dominate their opening game of the conference.

Robert Bolick also had a standout performance, contributing 23 points, 12 assists, and seven rebounds while supporting Torres' offensive efforts throughout the match.

Despite Rain or Shine's strong start, NLEX took control in the second quarter and maintained their lead until the end, denying the Elasto Painters a winning start to the conference.

This win marks a bounce-back for the Road Warriors after finishing last conference as semifinalists, with Torres' clutch performance ensuring his standout game did not go to waste.
