Nitura named NCAA Player of the Week

Cyrus Nitura from Perpetual Help was named Collegiate Press Corps' Player of the Week in NCAA men's basketball.

Nitura led his team to four consecutive wins, including victories over top teams Lyceum and San Beda.

The sophomore averaged 11.67 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.67 assists, and 3.0 steals per game during the week.

Coach Myk Saguiguit praised Nitura's efforts, noting the team's resurgence has improved their chances in the tournament.
