Newborn Kobe discharged from hospital after testing positive for COVID-19

Newborn baby Kobe, who tested positive for COVID-19, has been discharged from the National Children's Hospital in Quezon City after 11 days of confinement.

Kobe was born at home on April 12 because local hospitals refused to admit his mother due to fears of spreading the virus.

Five days after birth, Kobe was rushed to the hospital with constipation and fever, where he tested positive for COVID-19.

His father, Ronnel Manjares, received him upon discharge on Tuesday, April 28.
