Negros Oriental logs 3 new coronavirus cases

The province of Negros Oriental has recorded three new coronavirus cases as of Monday, September 21.

These include a 25-year-old female from Jimalalud who returned from Parañaque, a 66-year-old male from Ayungon who came from Quezon City, and a 43-year-old female from Amlan who arrived from Marikina.

All three are locally stranded individuals in isolation facilities in their respective local government units.

On Saturday, September 19, the province logged eight new cases including four in Canlaon City where possible local transmission is being investigated.

The additional cases include a 27-year-old female LSI from Jimalalud who arrived from Cebu and three more individuals from Bais City.

As of Friday, September 18, six new confirmed cases were reported -- five locally stranded individuals and one authorized person outside residence.
