Filipinos abroad with COVID-19 now 10,314

As of Monday, September 14, the number of Filipinos abroad with COVID-19 increased to 10,314 with 133 new cases.

The Department of Foreign Affairs reported 121 recoveries and four deaths, bringing total recoveries to 6,554 and fatalities to 772.

Delays in reporting due to privacy laws in one Asian territory contributed to the rise in numbers.

Approximately 2,988 Filipinos are still receiving treatment for the illness.

The DFA continues to work with host governments to ensure the safety of Filipino nationals abroad.
