NDRRMC prepares for Gardo, Hinnamnor

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) are preparing for Tropical Depression Gardo and Typhoon Hinnamnor.

Regional disaster heads in Regions 1, 2, and the Cordillera Administrative Region have been directed to ready their resources.

The NDRRMC has encouraged the initiation of Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment at the regional level as needed.

NDRRMC spokesperson Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV cautioned the public to monitor advisories and prepare for possible adverse effects.
