Pepito affects over 24k in Luzon

As of Wednesday night, Tropical Storm 'Pepito' affected 5,247 families or 24,032 individuals in Regions 2 and Calabarzon.

In Region 2, the breakdown is as follows: Cagayan (115 families), Isabela (291 families), Nueva Vizcaya (five families), and Quirino (16 families).

In Calabarzon, 4,790 families were affected.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Signal No. 1 was lifted from the western portion of Pangasinan as Pepito intensified into a severe tropical storm.
