NCR's COVID cases and positivity rates trending downward

The COVID-19 infections and positivity rates in NCR are trending downward.

As of August 14, NCR's seven-day case average is at 1,173 with a one-week growth rate of -9%, down from the previous week.

The ADAR slightly decreased to 8.14 per 100,000 population, and the positivity rate dropped to 15.7% as of August 17.

OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David noted that the reproduction number in NCR is at 1.03, indicating a slowing transmission rate.
