NCR COVID-19 positivity rate drops to 4.9%

The positivity rate for COVID-19 in the National Capital Region (NCR) dropped to 4.9 percent as of July 1, down from 5 percent on June 30.

Laguna and Rizal also saw their rates fall below 5 percent.

Twelve other provinces observed a decrease or stable positivity rates, including Bulacan, Cagayan, Camarines Sur, Cavite, La Union, Oriental Mindoro, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Quezon, and Zambales.

However, an uptick was noted in Palawan.
