NCR COVID-19 positivity rate at 5.9%

As of June 25, the National Capital Region's (NCR) COVID-19 positivity rate increased to 5.9%, according to OCTA Research.

This marks an increase from 5.6% on June 22 and 3.9% on June 18.

The World Health Organization recommends a testing positivity rate below 5%.

OCTA fellow Guido David noted that several regions, including Batangas, Cavite, Iloilo, Laguna, and Rizal, also surpassed the WHO benchmark with positivity rates of 8.3%, 7.1%, and higher.
