NBA legends reunite in Bacolod on Feb 22

Former players of the Negros Basketball Association (NBA) are set to reunite for the AcroCity presents NBA Legends Cup on February 22 in Bacolod City.

Organized by alumni such as Victor Villarias, Jun Locsin, Mike Mustre, Freche Ang, and Django Rivera, along with local coordinators John Imperio and Bong Palo, the event promises a full house at Po Hang gym.

Notable attendees include former PBA stars like Noli Locsin of Ginebra and Kenneth Duremdes, adding star power to the nostalgic gathering.

With close to 100 participants divided into four teams, the day will feature several matches starting at 11 a.m., culminating in a championship game at 2:45 p.m.

Angelo Wongchuking of Czark Mak Group emphasized the event's significance as a way for former teammates and rivals to share joyful memories with their communities.

The tournament also honors founding officials, including the late Dodong Bascon, and is free to the public as part of the players' effort to give back.
