Navotas offers free COVID-19 tests for high-risk workers

The city government of Navotas will conduct free COVID-19 swab tests for market vendors, public utility vehicle drivers, and fisherfolk from July 27 to 31.

Mayor Toby Tiangco signed an executive order citing that markets and the public transport system are high-risk environments for infection.

Tiangco emphasized prioritizing these groups due to their higher risk of exposure and difficulty in maintaining social distancing.

Companies located within Navotas can also avail free testing for employees, whether residents or not, to prevent community spread.
