Employers reject DOH proposal for random COVID-19 testing every 2 weeks

Employers rejected a proposal by the Health department for businesses to randomly test workers for COVID-19 every two weeks.

The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) stated that ideally, all employees should undergo more accurate swab tests rather than random rapid testing due to cost and accuracy concerns.

Medical organizations warned that using inaccurate rapid antibody test kits could lead to increased virus spread.
