NAIA increases PSC for domestic and international flights; OFWs exempt

Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) will not be affected by upcoming increases in passenger service charges at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), according to New NAIA Infra Corp.

The PSC for international travel will increase to PHP950 from PHP550, while domestic flights will see a rise to PHP390 from PHP200 starting September 2025.

These adjustments follow the concession agreement and are in line with government regulations set by the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) and approved by the Department of Transportation.

The NNIC emphasizes that these rates remain below inflation-adjusted values from 2000, highlighting recent enhancements such as renovated restrooms, improved air conditioning systems, and new CCTV installations.

Additional improvements include a centralized transportation network vehicle service hub, an OFW lounge with rest areas, automated parking facilities, and the upcoming launch of a biometric passenger processing system.
