Muntinlupa imposes 24-hour curfew amid COVID-19

Muntinlupa City has imposed a 24-hour curfew as part of measures to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Under the ordinance, residents are not allowed outside their homes except for specified exemptions.

For first-time violators, benefits such as scholarships and zero-interest loans will be canceled; repeat offenders may lose relief goods during quarantine.

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra stated that the total lockdown in Luzon effectively constitutes a 24-hour curfew with certain exceptions.
