Sandro Muhlach files rape charges against Nones, Cruz

Actor Sandro Muhlach formally filed charges of rape through sexual assault and acts of lasciviousness against independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz before the Department of Justice on Monday.

Sandro testified in an executive session at a Senate inquiry, where his father Niño also expressed hope for justice. During the hearing, Nones was cited for contempt after denying making an offer to Sandro's father, which was later confirmed by GMA executive Annette Gozon-Valdes' affidavit.

Nones and Cruz both denied wrongdoing during previous hearings, while Muhlach’s lawyer Czarina Raz stated that they would secure justice for the actor based on strong evidence collected.

Singer-actor Gerald Santos also testified at the hearing, revealing he was raped by a former musical director of a television network in 2005 when he was 15 years old, and sought legal remedies due to the statute of limitations concerns.
