More Filipinos expect happy Christmas despite pandemic

More Filipinos expect this year's Christmas to be happy despite the ongoing pandemic.

According to a Social Weather Stations survey conducted from December 12-16, 65% of Filipino adults anticipate a 'happy' Christmas, up from 50% in 2020 but below pre-pandemic levels of 79% in 2019.

Only 8% expect a sad Christmas this year, down significantly from the record-high 15% last year.

The survey also noted that 22% see their Christmas as neither happy nor sad, marking an 11-point drop from last year's high of 33%.
