US firms Moderna, Arcturus ready to supply PH up to 25M doses

Philippine Ambassador Jose Manuel Romualdez announced on Friday that US-based pharmaceutical companies Moderna and Arcturus Therapeutics are willing to supply up to 25 million doses of their COVID-19 vaccines starting in the third quarter of 2021, contingent upon approval by the Philippine government.

Moderna is currently in initial negotiation stages with the Philippine government for vaccine purchase, while Arcturus has not yet been included in the country's vaccine portfolio for trials or procurement.
