MMDA: Minors, elderly can now ride PUVs in Metro Manila

Minors in Metro Manila were initially prohibited from riding public utility vehicles (PUVs) despite eased COVID-19 restrictions and increased passenger capacity to 70%, according to the DOTr.

However, MMDA Chair Benhur Abalos later clarified that senior citizens and children under 18 are now allowed to ride PUVs as per IATF guidelines.
