MMC allows travel for accompanied minors under Alert Level 3

The Metro Manila Council approved on Tuesday the intrazonal and interzonal travel for minors aged below 18 years old if accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

Minors are allowed to travel in private vehicles and public utility vehicles (PUVs) but must adhere to reasonable restrictions based on age and comorbidities as determined by local government units.

MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos emphasized that unaccompanied minors will be called out, and appropriate actions will be taken to ensure their safety.
