Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios reunites with Michelle Marquez Dee in Filipiniana attire

Reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios arrived in the Philippines on May 1 and reunited with fellow pageant contestant Michelle Marquez Dee at the Miss Universe Philippines Sponsors Night event at the Manila Hotel.

During their reunion, both queens wore stunning Filipiniana ternos as seen in Michelle's Instagram post.

Dee expressed that she would have liked to see Palacios earlier but had been occupied with other commitments and is now looking forward to Sheynnis enjoying Filipino food, beaches, and attractions during her stay.

Sheynnis and Michelle, who both finished in the Top 10 of Miss Universe 2023, bonded backstage by teaching each other their respective languages and practiced lip exercises before entering the closed-door interview.

Dee is set to crown Sheynnis's successor at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant on May 22, which will be hosted by Alden Richards, R'Bonney Gabriel, and Jeannie Mai.
