Misamis Oriental’s COVID-19 positivity rate climbs to high level

Misamis Oriental's COVID-19 positivity rate increased to a 'high' level of 26.8% as of March 25, according to OCTA Research.

The rate rose from 17.1% on March 18 and is more than five times the World Health Organization's threshold of 5%.

Other provinces like Batangas, Bulacan, Cebu, Davao del Sur, Laguna, and Negros Occidental also saw slight increases.

The National Capital Region's positivity rate remained at 3.2%, classified as 'low'.

Philippines reported 227 new cases on Sunday, with most active cases still in NCR.
