Philippine airlines suspend flights; adverse weather hits Zamboanga

Philippine Airlines Express suspended three round-trip flights between Manila and Zamboanga: 2P 2949/2950, 2P 2997/2998, and 2P 2953/2954.

Cebu Pacific canceled six round-trip flights and one outbound flight between Manila and Zamboanga: 5J 851/852, 5J 859/860, 5J 853/854, 5J 857/858, 5J 849/850, and 5J 858D from Zamboanga to Manila.

AirSWIFT canceled one round-trip flight between Manila and Romblon: T6 710/711.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecasts isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao due to the southwest monsoon, potentially causing floods and landslides.
