Metro Manila implements shortened curfew starting May 1

Metro Manila will implement shortened curfew hours from 10 pm to 4 am starting May 1, based on MMDA's resolution.

The region is currently under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) and mayors agreed to retain this status until mid-May with more businesses allowed to reopen.

Mayors also recommended a 'flexible MECQ' after April 30, which would allow additional business openings while maintaining curfew hours.
