Bolts begin Ilocos Norte training camp

Meralco Bolts started a 10-day training camp in Laoag, Ilocos Norte on Sunday despite Metro Manila being under general community quarantine.

The team chose to train outside of NCR as they completed the required two RT-PCR tests needed under PBA protocols.

Coach Norman Black said Meralco is following the league's direction and will have four weeks of practice time before the start of the season projected for June.

Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Manotoc offered his province to all PBA teams for their preparations, making Laoag Centennial Arena a venue for closed-circuit training.
