Meralco extends no-disconnection policy until May 14

Meralco extended its 'no-disconnection' policy until May 14 due to the government's decision to extend the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Ferdinand Geluz, Meralco FVP and chief commercial officer, said the extension aims to ease customer burden amid challenging times.

Meter reading and bill delivery services will continue during this period, with Meralco crews on standby for emergencies.
