Marcos: Will run for president despite Sara's moves

Former Senator Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. stated on Thursday that he will continue his campaign for the presidency in 2022 despite recent political moves by Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

Duterte withdrew her candidacy for mayor and joined Lakas-CMD, fueling speculation about a potential presidential run.

Marcos emphasized during an interview in Cavite that he has no intention of changing his plans or parties, reiterating his commitment to running for president.

When asked what would happen if Sara runs for president, Marcos simply responded, 'Then she will run. What can I say.'.
