Marcos visits father's tomb, sends flowers to Aquino's grave

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. visited his father's tomb at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani on All Saints' Day, accompanied by former First Lady Imelda Marcos and supporters wearing red.

A mass was held for President Marcos Sr., during which attendees recited a prayer written by the late dictator, prompting President Marcos Jr. to express gratitude for his father's guidance.

In his message after the Mass, President Marcos vowed to continue his father's legacy by working towards the development of the country and improving living conditions for Filipinos, emphasizing that his father’s lessons remain his guiding force as president.

The president thanked members of One Movement Inc. for their presence and support during the visit, noting that their arrival made Undas more meaningful, while also refusing to comment on Vice President Sara Duterte's threat to desecrate his late father's remains.

Marcos Jr. also sent flowers to the tomb of former President Corazon Aquino, highlighting a gesture of reconciliation amid political tensions.
