Marcos urges voters to support action-oriented candidates

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. urged voters to support action-oriented candidates during a campaign rally in San Jose del Monte City on Friday.

Marcos emphasized the importance of electing individuals who focus on getting work done rather than engaging in rhetoric, stating that they should not listen to those who only talk and instead choose public servants who just do their job.

The president assured voters that his endorsed candidates understand their responsibilities and will collaborate with other lawmakers without unnecessary debates or conflicts.

Former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Pia Cayetano, and others were present at the rally, discussing issues such as lowering rice prices and addressing traffic congestion.

Senator Panfilo Lacson acknowledged that achieving a P20 per kilo price for rice is challenging but feasible with improvements in the value chain, while Senator Vicente Sotto III suggested buying from local farmers to reduce costs.
