Marcos urges Bicol voters to back admin slate

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged voters in Bicol, particularly those who supported his rival Leni Robredo in the previous election, to vote for the administration's senatorial slate during a campaign rally in Pili, Camarines Sur on Friday, March 7.

Marcos emphasized that voting straight for his party’s candidates would bring more benefits to the region, calling them a 'dream team' due to their diverse political backgrounds and unity towards improving the lives of Filipinos.

The president highlighted the quality of his team, noting that they are the 'one true alliance' whose candidates coming from different parties unified for a common cause.

Marcos also noted how beneficial it would be for him to work with 'very experienced' legislators in running the government and called on Bicolanos to vote for the entire slate as Camarines Sur is considered a crucial battleground with 1.34 million voters.

The Bicol Region, known as Leni Robredo's stronghold, is the fifth vote-rich region in the country with over 4 million voters for the upcoming midterm elections.
