Marcos urges DSWD to distribute non-prescription medicines to Paeng victims

President Marcos emphasized the need to distribute non-prescription medicines such as those for colds, coughs, and stomachaches to victims of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng.

During a situation briefing in Maguindanao province on Tuesday, Marcos instructed DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo to prioritize the distribution of these common medications alongside food and non-food packs.

Marcos noted that evacuees are suffering from coughs and fever at evacuation centers and stressed the importance of not waiting for prescribed medicines.
