Marcos pledges clean campaign for senatorial candidates

During a campaign rally in Dumaguete City, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., emphasized that his senatorial candidates from the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas will prioritize national progress and public welfare, rejecting any form of negative campaigning or fear-mongering.

Marcos assured voters that his slate of 12 senatorial candidates, which includes members from various political parties such as former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senators Ramon Bong Revilla and Pia Cayetano, among others, will not engage in 'bloody' campaigns or illegal methods.

The president also discussed national issues, including the potential impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte, stating that a Senate trial would be a matter for debate once the Supreme Court has made decisions on related cases.

Regarding political violence in Negros Oriental, Marcos's allies highlighted improvements in peace and order conditions within the province.
