Marcos orders early advisories for suspensions due to Enteng

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. instructed government agencies to provide early advisories for class and work suspensions due to Tropical Storm Enteng.

Marcos wants the public to receive cancellation notices before bedtime so they can prepare accordingly, emphasizing that people should know if there will be work or classes the next day before going to bed.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin announced that government work in the National Capital Region (NCR) was suspended at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, with classes also canceled.

Some local government units outside the NCR have also suspended government work and classes.

Marcos assured that concerned offices are monitoring weather conditions and flooding in affected areas and are prepared for any aftermath.

The president's directive aims to ensure timely communication and preparedness for potential disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions.
