Marcos Jr. distributes 387 PTVs in Luzon

Local chief executives in the Bicol Region and Zambales thanked President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for distributing patient transport vehicles (PTVs) on Wednesday, July 9.

A total of 387 PTVs were distributed across Luzon by the PCSO, with Zambales receiving a total of 12 units among the 99 given to LGUs in Central Luzon.

Camalig Mayor Carlos Irwin Baldo Jr. highlighted the importance of these vehicles in enhancing disaster and medical response capabilities for Bicol Region.

Daraga, Albay Mayor Victor Perete expressed gratitude for the new vehicle, which will improve medical services for residents, while Botolan, Zambales Mayor Jun Omar Ebdane described the emergency vehicle as a 'blessing' to his community.

Catanduanes Governor Patrick Azanza noted that 12 ambulances were allocated to his province to enhance patient transport, and Malacañang announced an additional 985 units are scheduled for deployment within the year, bringing the total to 1,552 PTVs.
