Marcos Jr. creates office to rehab Pasig River

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has established an office to oversee the rehabilitation of the Pasig River through Executive Order 92 issued on August 13.

The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Pasig River Rehabilitation will be led by Jose Acuzar, who previously served as Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary.

This new office is tasked with advising the president on policies and programs for rehabilitating the Pasig River water system and coordinating with local government units to implement these initiatives.

The Office of the Presidential Adviser must submit bi-annual reports to the President through the Office of the Executive Secretary.

The Inter-Agency Council for the Pasig River Urban Development has been reorganized, with Acuzar as chair and Romando Artes from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority as vice chair.
