Marcos appoints officials to government posts

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. appointed several officials to various government positions on Thursday.

Felix Castro Jr., previously the presidential assistant for Marawi rehabilitation, was named assistant secretary of the Office of the President (OP), while columnist Mario Fetalino Jr. joined the Presidential Communications Office as assistant secretary.

Cris Tenorio and Adrian Bautista were appointed as Director IV and Director II at the OP's Asset Management Office and PCO respectively, alongside Benjamin Albarece and Eliseo Cruz who became assistant secretaries in the Department of Agriculture and Justice.

Christian Tan Aguado and Reggie Cruz were named part-time commissioners for the Commission on the Filipino Language, representing southern cultural communities and Pampanga language respectively, while Ma. Carissa Coscolluela was appointed as acting board member of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Other appointments include Biance Patrice Go as National Youth Commission commissioner, Ernesto Severino as Board of Directors member for the Philippine Postal Corporation, and Elihu Ybañez as the new commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Good Government.

The Department of Finance welcomed Joven Balbosa as Undersecretary, Gerald Alan Quebral as Assistant Secretary, and Cherry Mae Gonzales and Donalyn Minimo as Director IVs, while Shiela Imperial was named Director III at the Department of Agriculture.
