Marc Lim wins first SEA Games gold in jiu-jitsu after three tries

Filipino jiu-jitsu athlete Marc Lim won his first SEA Games gold medal after three attempts, defeating Vietnam's Dinh Tung Dang in the men's ne-waza nogi -69kg event.

Lim had previously earned silver and bronze medals in the 2019 and 2021 editions of the games respectively.

Meggie Ochoa also competed but settled for a silver medal after suffering an injury during her match against Cambodia's Jessa Khan.
